SERIOUSLY.

I was watching the News, I think it was Buffalo News and I saw this thing about a gay couple who did something that got SO MUCH ATTENTION. So hearing that I really wanted to watch it. Apparently all that happened was a gay couple put their picture in the engagment section of a news paper and people were shitting bricks.

Yeah hi, in Canada if that happened no one would really give a shit. What the fuck is wrong with America. It's not like they were making out or fucking each other in the picture. They were SITTING together, barely touching.

OH THE CORUPTION. SAVE THE CHILDREN.

(not saying there aren't homophobes in Canada, they're are!, but there's a lot less of it here. It's actually disgusting how bad it's gotten in the US.. it makes me sad and pissed.)

I LOL'd when they got comments from locals and the two people used was one seriously unnattractive overweight women who couldn't even form a sentence properly and a man who spoke as if he were brought up by a deaf person. But the thing about it was the news people talking about the story weren't all like, "AHH GAY PEOPLE" they sounded more shocked that 70% of the comments left on the website of the paper (I think?) were negative. Not surprised considering people behind computers are cowards. In reality 30% of people are against homosexuality and 70% support or just don't care.

But lets face it, you can be against homosexuality and do everything in your power to stop it; we're never going away. I'd rather live with people hating me then live with myself hating me.
